The TibetanAid Foundation and Odiyana Charitable Society have partnered together to build an education and clinic facility near the town of Ruskin, located in northeast India. The first facility will be a low-to-no cost medical clinic and assembly hall that will provide for the immediate medical needs of the people near and far, while the Community Hall will become the center for social and cultural life of the area. The second facility will be the Odiyana Children’s School to serve low socio-economic children and focus on their intellectual, physical, and spiritual development by offering a holistic education influenced by Buddhist principles.
Buddhism teaches that everything exists in dependence upon causes and conditions. We invite you to be part of the ‘causes and conditions’ that bring the Odiyana Project into full manifestation and together raise $200,000 to benefit countless families in the Ruskin area of Arunachal Pradesh and Assam.
